Praise

I was in a service this morning when the emphasis was on praise and worship. That message was delivered well and you could sense that God was wanting to do something. Well he did just that, and guess who got most of the blessing? The pastor who preached, you could see the anointing manifesting in his life. Now praise and worship are infectious! that blessing spread to the rest of us. I know how this can happen because I preach and sometimes can not contain the joy of the Lord.

It is then my in my calling to make sure that the anointing spreads. God does the anointing, we do the encouraging and when that happens we are blessed beyond measure. In other words there is no limit to what God can do. If you do not believe me just ask him. The answer may not come in the way you think, you see God knows our mindset. That need will be met and will open a vision that has no limits. Go for it, have a ball with the Holy Spirit, I promise you that you will never be the same!.

The Light

In Matthew chapter 17 verse2-5 We see that momentous time when Jesus was transfigured in front of Peter James and John. Now there were more disciples than these three. So why just these instead of all of them?. These three had absorbed more of the teaching of Jesus than the others. And as such carried more anointing.

Jesus did not have favourites but he knew who he could take to see this. These three would be able to comprehend the fact that Jesus was talking to Moses and Elijah. Also the light that came from Jesus they would be able to stand when it happened. You see Jesus was still a man, but all the glory and light from heaven was within him. That takes some understanding, all four of them were in the spirit so they could understand things in spirit and in truth.

When we worship and read the word in spirit and in truth. That is when we shall understand visions that we have and prophetic words that are given to us. But what about this light that Jesus was filled with, he was the truth and he obeyed his Fathers commands. So he could be filled with the spirit of God and that was the light that shone from him.

Matthew chapter 5. verse 16. Puts it this way, let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works. And glorify your Father in heaven. There it is, the same light, that grows brighter as we delve into the word of God and worship him in spirit and in truth. When we do that the light gets brighter and brighter and will draw people to us.

When Jesus died he was in the grave for three days. In that time he went into the devils kingdom and prowled around until he found the devil. When he found him he saw the devil grovelling and in terror. Jesus was and is pure light and truth, as he went around hell there was this pure light wherever he went. Demons screamed in terror as that pure light lit up their darkness.

And the devil himself the prince of darkness? it was that pure divine light that made him grovel. Now the more we immerse ourselves in the word of God which increases our belief. The brighter that light becomes and dark situations and thought will have to go.

So shine for Jesus today and watch the darkness disappear, it can not stand the light! Amen

In John chapter 12 verses 12-19. We find Jesus riding on a donkey and about to enter Jerusalem. His fame had spread around, more so after the resurrection of Lazarus. He was being hailed as the Messiah and King.

The priest standing by and watching this were enraged to hear such things. Little did they know that Jesus was using this opportunity to anger them further so that they would crucify him. He knew that was his divine calling to be nailed on a cross and to take upon himself the sins of this world.

Scripture was being fulfilled in  Deuteronomy 18. verse 15. The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren, him you shall hear. Jesus was more than a prophet, but that is how most of the  Jews saw him. Moses was saying this, there were many prophets after him. but none like Jesus Christ, this is who Moses was referring to. Although the priest knew the law they would not recognise who Jesus was.

Jesus went into the temple and turned all commercial things and people out of it. Declaring that my Fathers house is a house of prayer. That was the last straw, the priests had a cut of all this. Now they declared let us kill him and this they did. Giving Jesus the way to defeat the devil in his own back yard!

Now Jesus is alive and his light is shining brighter than ever. If we will let him it will shine just a bright through us.  We need to be a people who have that divine light that will dissolve any problem that anybody brings to us. Jesus can and will solve problems that appear so big to any of us.

When we look at the fruits of the Holy Spirit in Galatians 5. Nothing can stand against those remarkable statements. When we immerse ourselves in these. We can truly say that we are an empty vessel that God can use.

Monday

Good Morning it is Monday again, another day that God has granted us while he tarry’s. For those of you at work and have had the weekend off. The start of a new week can be a bit difficult, I remember it well. Praise the Lord for all his goodness and this is a day he has given us to further his Kingdom.

Now how can I do that at work you may say. Praise him in everything that you do, give it all to him. You can praise silently within yourself, you see praise opens prison doors. There maybe someone near you that is struggling and you do not know about it. Praise can bring an opportunity to speak to them or just be made aware of their struggle. Then you can pray and that will also lift you up as well and transform your whole day.

Think of all the good things that God has done for you. Commit the negatives to him, they do not belong to you. Jesus dealt with them on the cross, he loves you and nothing can break that love. The Holy Spirit is waiting to minister to you at anytime and to show you how to love in a divine way. Give it a try, I know there are things in my life that happened years ago. They can not pull me down now because Jesus has taken them away from me. Now my God has no favourites, what he has done for me he will do for you. Praise God! for his goodness and mercy.

When you are next in a service have a look at the hymn book or a chorus book. Have a good look at the words and when you sing them, really mean them. You will find you are in the best level of praise that you have ever been in. This will lift you up and then keep them in your head as you go about your work. Also in other times you will find that things get a lot easier.
